That was the title of the very first of our ‘Think Futures’ seminars, held at the Ramada Inn during FESPA Munich 2014.
The free panel and networking event, hosted by Diamond Dispersions, allowed delegates to discuss insights and opinions on the direction of digital textile printing in an informal environment followed by a more structured Q&A session with the key note panel.
Sue Wright, director at Diamond, said: “We were delighted to welcome three specially selected industry experts – John Provost, WTIN and textile industry guru (UK) , Etienne Steveninck, product manager Colaris Narrow Fabrics at Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH (Austria) and Baily Smith, international sales director at FUJIFILM Dimatix (USA).
“The panel was carefully selected to provide different views from different positions in the industry. We are hopeful it gave delegates some direction in developing inks for the markets of the future.”
Concluded Diamond’s director, Peter Callahan: “Over 75 delegates from across the globe attended – it was great to see so many new and familiar faces in the room for what turned out to be a highly informative and thought-provoking event. The feedback has been extremely positive and we plan to run at least two ‘Think Futures’ seminars a year and our next will be at FESPA Turkey 2014 in December – more details to follow soon!”
