We’re delighted to have been invited, for the second consecutive year, to take part in a symposium organised by Lubrizol’s European research and development centre at Hazelwood in Derby.
The symposium will take place on 25thJune at Pride Park, home of Derby County FC. This year’s theme is ‘Sustainability’ and we are planning to showcase Diamond’s capabilities in relation to ‘just-in-time’ printing and how we can help to facilitate local production of a wide variety of garments.
Here at Diamond we’ve always worked alongside our customers to ensure they’re getting everything they need to succeed. A key player in making that happen is our technical services manager, Nick Scheinkönig.
We caught up with Nick, who has an MSc from the University of Leeds in polymer chemistry, to find out more about his role and how he’s the ‘go to’ person when it comes to support, advice and even recommendations.
When Sue Wright and Peter Callahan, the co-founders and original owners of Diamond Dispersions decided to sell the company to Lubrizol back in 2016, it was in large part because they could see a tangible fit between Lubrizol’s Digital Print business and Diamond.
As more and more industrial markets transition from analogue to digital printing to realise the benefits of lower cost and increased speed to market, both Diamond and Lubrizol seek new ways to ‘think external’.
