Diamond Dispersions have expanded their sales team with the appointment of Simon Robinson as sales administrator.
Simon, 29, graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in business studies and marketing in 2006. Whilst there, he completed a 12 month work placement with the Materials & Engineering Research Institute where he was responsible for liaising with customers, scientists and researchers all over the world.
After graduating, Simon established his own aquatics business and then went on to work in customer service and sales for a UK games company.
Simon’s new role with Diamond Dispersions will see him focus on customer service and aftercare as well as providing technical support for customers as a direct liaison between the company’s chemists and research team.
Explains Simon: “I’m really looking forward to the variety of the role and helping to further improve the excellent reputation Diamond has for customer service. As global ink specialists we’re here to support our customers create the perfect inks. There are numerous processes involved in this quest and one of the most important is effective communications. That’s where I come in to provide a link between our customers and the team here, as well as our field sales staff across the world.”

Simon recently attended the European Coatings Show 2013 in Nuremberg with Diamond’s head chemist, Dr Vicky Verona, from 19th – 21st March, Hall 7, Stand 7-116.
